Regarding static IP users getting hotspot login page

Dear Mikrotik,

We have bought new mikrotik router (1100ahx2) and using in our network from 1/1/2015.

We are using some public(static) IP users in our network.

Now the problem is The public ip users also getting the hotspot login page.

We need the static IP users must get internet directly without the hotspot login page.

The mikrotik is synced with RDM software.

NETWORK Connection FLOW

Internet IN-------->Cisco Router-------->Mikrotik------>Radius manager software----->Internet to customers

Our problems to be solved

1. We need the mikrotik login page to be displayed only to hotspot & pppoe users.The public IP users must get internet directly.

2. Is there any option avilable with mikrotik to track the user web access (URL)details. We need to take backup of this list every month.

hi,

first of d’t mix hotspot interface with your static ip. you should run both setup parallel . for wireless create virtual interface to connect the user how have the static ip. some basic changes are also required in your router . give access i will do this for you.


for logs your radius manager can collect the logs of customers . but it depends on the feature of the radius server also.
