Reinstalling routeros

I’m using my rb133 and then it just goes kaput - cant access via winbox or other interface.
I get a null modem cable and here’s what i see:

CPU frequency: 175 MHz

Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..
loading kernel from nand… OK

Please reinstall the router.



How exactly do i go about reinstalling routeros? I have a 2.9 with level4 license. I’ve installed netinstall but i cant get to acess the rb133.

I’ve gone thru d manual a dozen+ times.
Problem is the rb133 shows up in hyperterminal (via console) but when i press any key to enter setup (within 2 seconds!), it doesn’t take me into the bios, it just goes ahead and loads kernel from nand… and then tells me its starting, then shutting down, then to reinstall the router.

Help!

When the 2 seconds Text comes up i cant go in the bios either.

make sure you have correct baud rate to connect with the console

I did get the bios. I reinstalled the software to the latest version. Now it says I dont have a software key. It will stop functioning in 24hrs. They RB133C comes with a license.

in your mikrotik account there should be your key. or ask your distributor, they will give it to you.

I’ve checked and rechecked the baud settings as well as all the other port settings and i still can’t get into the rb133 bios.

I’m using 115200-8-none-1-hardware. Even when i try using 9600 or any other baudrate all i get in the console is gibberish.

Anything else i could try?
