I was wondering if the the dhcp-relay directive of mikrotik actually populate the option 82 before sending the request to the DHCP-SERVER?
from the forum I know that the option 82 can be taken into account with the DHCP-SERVER/RADIUS but I could not confirm that it could be filled in be the the mikrotik.
I’ve implement a small test lab using (the wonderfull) RB750 and an ISC DHCPD but I was not able to find the option 82 from a packet trace (tcpdump/wireshark).
Hopefully i’m doing something wrong. What should I’ve done to get the mikrotik fill the Agent-ID and Circuit-ID?
