I have few questions regarding remote access with Mikrotik. I have one customer and have to configure this.
Can anybody tell me is it possible to configure IPSec remote access in Mikrotik for some software client like Cisco VPN client?
I saw a configurations of L2TP/IPSec tunnel, but is there a possibility of just pure IPSec PC-Mikrotik tunnel configuration?
Also if L2TP/IPSec or SSTP is used, can you configure split tunneling only by unchecking “Use default gateway on remote network” in Advanced TCP/IP properties tab?
I’d like to use SSTP, but it doesn’t exist on XP machines. Is there some free software client for SSTP VPN on Windows XP machine?
What remote access would you reccommend (except PPTP because of its lack of security)?
