I currently have a hap ac lite sitting behind a privately owned FW that is giving out private IP address. What i am trying to do is gain remote access to the hap along with https access to a device that sits off the hap and not sure the best way to do this.

Im thinking a remote VPN setup but not even sure if this is the best approach.

I know its easy with a public IP address but in this case, it is not possible to get a public IP.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have a look at Back To Home, it might help in your case. I’m just not sure if hAP ac lite is supported (already), additional architectures got supported with latest stable releases of ROS.
