Remote DHCP

Hi,
I have problems trying to have my remote PCs acquire IPs from a central DHCP Server.

The Scenario is as follows:

I have a remote mikrotik rb 133 which is connecting to another Mikrotik rb (Base). i want the clients behind the remote rb to get their IPs from a dedicated DHCP server which is behind the Base. please how do i go about that as this is giving me a headache.

Thanks

dwill

Perhaps the remote router needs to be configured as a DHCP relay server?

Perhaps the remote router needs to be configured as a DHCP relay server?

exactly.

Currently, the DHCP clients are broadcasting DHCP requests onto their local subnet.

Currently, there is no way for those requests to get to the DHCP server.

also… be sure that your FW rules allow the DHCP conversation to take place… UDP Ports 67, 68.
