Remote into canopy access point behind routeros

Hello,

What is the best way to set up my routeros box so I can remote into my canopy access point behind it? Canopy recommends you not give the access point a routeable address.

The hands down best option would be a VPN. You can choose between many methods, including PPTP and IPsec as the most popular ones. That way the private addresses are routable and management traffic is protected in the VPN tunnel.
