Remote Maps

We are using TheDude here all ok, however I want to split some maps out so that they can be monitored by a remote dude server.

I’m guessing I can install the dude on a remote system, but how can I pull through the map from the remote dude server to our main server?
What we want to do is monitor and watch everything from 1 system but have another monitor some of our servers at a remote site, we only want to login to the 1 dude server to view the stats however.

Hope this makes sence

Use the “Agent” feature: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:The_Dude/Agents

So if the link between our sites fails will the dude still report the devices down or will the monitoring/reporting be donw by the agent?

Also, how do you setup the dude as an agent, the link says how to add the agent but not setup the process as a whole

OK agent install is rather easy - install server on remote PC and add as an agent on the local server.
I’m just still concerned as to what will happen with regards to outages, will the remote agent continue to poll the servers and not report false positives etc if the main link goes down?
I’ve setup dependencies for the devices on the site as well so that if one device (namely the main link) fails then we wont get a report that everything has failed even though it hasn’t.
