First I will start off with apologising for asking probably a question that has already been asked 100 times at least.
I’ll also apologise in advance if I’m not within the correct sub section.
To keep it as brief and to the point as much as possible.
We are an ISP who send out various CPE types including Mikrotiks to branch customer sites. We want to able to be in a position where we can remotely configure this CPE device once it gets detected on our network.
Thinking something potentially along the lines. CPE at customer site on the WAN link is DHCP enabled. Customer connects the uplink which then talks to a server within our internal network which will have the config scripts there ready in place. Once the initial parameters match the config is pushed through to the end Mikrotik CPE device.
Just checking if anyone has any similar experience in the above or has any pointers or education. I will welcome any feedback in order to assist to see if this is something feasible we can set up.
