I have repeated entries in the Probes (eg. netbios, memory,…etc) that results in repeated services in discoverd devices.
The question is, if I didn’t creat these probes, where did they came from? Could be the multiple versions installations of dude over the same machine?
Now I have Dude v3.0B6.
Yes. And you can just remove the doubles.
Unfortunately there’s no way to tell (AFAIK) which of the doubles is actually used on your devices, so you may have to check your devices to see if you didn’t delete the ‘active’ double for some devices (and then apply the other). This also implies you may loose graph history for things such as cpu, memory, etc.
Thanks for the reply,
I have removed the unnecessary services,
But don’t you think that this shouldn’t happen. I mean why a new installation would insert (some) repeated services while they are already there?
Unfortunately, it seems no related to multiple installs of the Dude.
I have removed the repeated probes when I first posted this problem, today I discovered that some removed probes came back again, and some new repeated probes generated.
Does this have to do with connecting to other servers from the same PC console?
