Which wireless mode should I select to use what is typically referred to as “repeater mode” in other devices?
Well if the router is doing the repeating then it must be in ap-bridge mode and if it’s getting the repeated signal then it should be in station-wds mode. WDS is not universally consistent though so you may find yourself in a mine field if not all the equipment is from one manufacturer.
