Replacement for RB2011UiAS-IN with SFP and 1GBs WAN

Hi
My RB2011 which i used as firewall for my 1GBs FTTH WAN broke. I now need a replacement which supports my SFP module (a relabeled module like this http://www.firstfiber.cn/bidi-sfp-1-25gbps-1310nmtx-1490nmrx-bidi-sfp-10km-transceiver.html) and can handle traffic for my 1GBs FTTH connection. I’m also using 3 IPSec site2site tunnels which of course should offer as much speed as possible. RB2011 was too slow for this, i just go arround 400MBs WAN speed.

I had a look at RB3011 and 4011. Both of them seems to have problems with SFP modules or are in general not very stable. I also don’t really get the different SFP models and how they are working. Can somebody point me to a capable replacement for my router?

Thanks for you help,

I’d still say the RB4011. I use a generic SFP+ in mine without any issues.

Thanks for you feedback. I’m just a bit irritated about this note on the homepage:

Note: The RB4011 does not support Passive DAC modules.

What does this exactly mean? I just want to be sure I’m not stuck with a non working SFP port

That it doesn’t support the S+DA0001, S+DA0003 and other passive Direct Attach Cables like it, such as this.

OK thank you!
