OK… I am going crazy trying to replace a Ubiquity PS2 (AirOS 3.1) backhaul link with an MT solution. here is how the network looks now:
Point A: UBNT PS2 10.0.0.60, AP, Bridge Mode
Point B: UBNT PS2 10.0.0.70, Station, Bridge Mode
UBNT PS2 10.0.0.80, AP, Bridge Mode
RB333 10.0.0.71- XR2 10.0.1.1(NAT), XR2 10.0.2.1 (NAT)- Client Access Points- WORKING FINE!!!
Point C: UBNT PS2 10.0.0.85, Station, Bridge Mode
UBNT PS2 10.0.0.90, AP, Bridge Mode
RB333 10.0.0.71- XR2 10.0.3.1(NAT), XR2 10.0.4.1 (NAT)- Client Access Points-
Point D: UBNT PS2 10.0.0.95, Station, Bridge Mode
I want to swap out .80 and .85 for a pair of RB333/XR5. I need this link to remain transparent for monitoring purposes. I am having a hell of a time coming up with a configuration for this. I am having a serious throughput problem on the UBNT link (red stuff) and need to solve this immediately. If such a link is possible on AirOS… its GOT to be possible on RouterOS.
I have had no problem configuring and deploying RB333s as client access points, and cannot figure out what i am doing wrong. if anybody could share a configuration or tutorial on how to accomplish this, I would be most grateful. Havent found one in the wiki that does the trick.
