What’s the best way to report documentation that needs updating? Always get bit confused with Mikrotik documentation (which doesn’t help new users). Is this page the latest on setting up UPnP? Because if it is, many of the examples don’t work on RouterOS v7

in terms of support if you think the documentation is WRONG, then its a bug.
If you think it simply is not clear, then use NEW SUGGESTION.
I assume that all documentation on help.mikrotik.com should be v7 syntax?
I'm not sure.
They abandoned updating the old wiki help for v6 but id does not mean that the new one is only for v7.
I would also assume, one is screwed if looking for v6 help..............
I’m not looking for v6 help - been v7 for few years now. Just configuring UPnP for the first time and some of the commands don’t work “as is”.

Only a temporary requirement, it’s normally off. Was trying to download the Veeam ISO backup for an urgent remote upgrade this weekend and ETA download from Veeam is 8 hours over a 900Mbps fibre link, so clearly their website is incredibly slow. I’ve got a copy here and I’ve always wondered if you could share a private file via torrent. Turns out you can but by default it uses UPnP to set-up an inbound torrent connection so that distracted me in learning about UPnP on Mikrotik. The ISO transferred in just over an hour so it’s turned off again ![]()
This is my usual apptoach, especially when something is undocumented.
