Im planning to use Mikrotik as a adsl router for residential buildings, but there is a problem: Here in Brasil, the ADSL service needs a web-autentication to “open the internet”. So there is a way to do this with current version of MT ? If not, a wget tool inside MT would be very important for me.
but wait! you are noit going to use the internet from the router, are you? so why you want to log in from the router? when a computer behind the router will try to use the internet, he will get the login page and everything will work as it is supposed to. am i wrong?
Because I use 1 internet conection to 20 user (an example) and every provider in Brazil request a web autorization. If my user receive this web request, he wont know that to do, I cant tell him the password because he can use it to other things.
The only way to get this working must be using a MT inside a virtual machine in Linux (Will it work?), or use another linux machine just to autenticate.
I have thought in using the hotspot feature of MT to make a javascript that autenticate in the provider.
