What is the purpose of the “Reset Button” in the Winbox GUI?

There are many reset buttons on Winbox windows.

Reset button additional functionality is supported by all MikroTik devices running RouterOS
Some RouterBOARD devices have a mode button that allows you to run any script when the button it pushed.
So the GUI button will (if programmed) run the pre-designated script? Correct?
Nope, physical reset button will run the pre-designated script, if such behaviour is configured in the menu, that opens if you press the GUI button.
Ahh… that makes more sense. Thank you. We were afraid to click the button then have to drive many miles to recover the device.
