Reset on Script counters not possible?

Hi,

Since the days I ran 2.9.x family until now, since I tried all 3.x versions on my main router and running 3.5 now on my P5 Machine I have never been able to set the ´run´counters for the scheduler or the scripts back to zero.
I have been told a reboot would do, but even then the counters stay as they are.
Even after a upgrade within a family (2.9.x or 3.x) the counters stay as they are!

The only way I can bring them back to ¨0¨ is to have the script copied and renamed to the original after the original has been deleted. A bit clumsy way of doing so… :frowning:

Are there any ways to perform a reset in terminal? I seem not to find such a command.

And if not, this must be a ´bug´ in the software..

Well, deleting and undo the delete or my way with copying and replace the old script with the new copy and have it renamed as the original is both not so much apart in procedure.

But I think we should ask MT if they can embed a counter reset option in scripting and scheduling.
The reason is ´debugging´. If you have several scripts that steer each other depending several scenarios it is nice to reset the counters each time you run a new trial.
By using the work around as prescribed by me and in the link the change something goes wrong is big and it is too much work.

SO MT, is it a possibility to embed counter-reset in the scheduler and script module in the next ros upgrade?
