Reset password by Keep old configuration when make netinstall

I have a question about NetInstall for Keep old Configuration.
I read from somewhere about netinstall for reset admin password but keep old configuration if we forgot RouterOS password (like admin). We can use NetInstall and check on Keep old configuration.
(like Cisco method if we forgot the password to access we can reset it but keep old configuration)

I’m try many time to test it but it not work. read from this link

please advice we can do or not for reset admin password on routeros if we forgot it.

Note . if we don’t have backup file (for backup file it can do i read from a website)

If you forgot your password can you reset the router.
If you have made a backup stay this stored on files.
With netinstall you loose everything and you must reconfiguring the router.
