Reset rb5009 and no WAN or DHCP

For some reason after factory resetting my rb5009, I cannot get it to pull an IP from Google fiber and or get my LAN to traffic out that sfp port. I also can’t seem to get DHCP working correctly on my LAN. This was super simple the first time I walked through this and for some reason I’m stumped. Can someone assist me?

Sure, based on the evidence presented, buy a new 5009 and it should work out of the box. Dont touch anything after as it seems you have the kiss of death.
Will send you a prepaid package for the 5009 to my address.

You probably did not perform the reset correctly.
Out of the box, WAN is ether1, not SFP+ port.

So do the reset again, correctly.

Buttons and jumpers
The RouterBOOT reset button has the following functions. Press the button and apply the power, then:

Release the button when the green LED starts flashing, to reset the RouterOS configuration to defaults.

Read the doc : https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/24805498/Reset+Button

A thing missing in the doc, is the default configuration for each device… this can be awesome to get them easily. Because this page https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/167706788/Default+configurations isn’t easier to get the same “/export” result. A rework on it will be a good idea.
Exemple : if i find 5009 on this page… i don’t find it !

For biginners, an “entry point” by model AND routerOS version can be more easier
