Resize existing running chr raw.

Okay have a running CHR dude server. Its low on space.

I know you can resize the image, but how do you make routeros restructure the image?

1 Stop the VM
2 Run qemu-img resize vmdisk.img +1G to increase image size by 1Gb
3 Start the VM, resize the partitions and LVM structure within it normally

Thanks!

I did this under Hyper-V and all I did was resize the disk and CHR did the rest for me.
So shut down, extend disk, start and during start up CHR resized the partition.

I can confirm it works!

CHR under Proxmox

How do you resize the partition with CHR? I don’t see any tools to do that

It does it automatically on restart.

How can I resize under VMWARE Esxi?

I think that it would be a tool to resize even in vmware, but I’m afraid this might mess up my setup.
My CHR is runnng on a 64MB HDD and I have problems with upgrade… is there a way to safely extend this on VMWARE?
