Hi!
I would like to use Intel I200 card which should work with “igb” driver.
I guess RouterOS v6.34.3 doesn’t load the driver. Is there a way to load the driver manually?
The device on the screenshot is 00:06.0.

No, if the card doesn’t appear under “interfaces” by itself, your only hope is to wait until we release a RouterOS with a new kernel
Are there any beta’s ready that I can test?
No, such version hasn’t been made yet
Are there plans to make one or should I just try to change my hardware? Changing hardware is a long shot since it’s hosted remotely by a 3rd party.
Is this some virtual installation? In that case, you must use the CHR image from our download page, it is made for virtual systems and has other drivers.
Yes it is. It is a KVM guest. The network card (host device) must be passed to the guest, since the IP is linked to the MAC address. I have tried the CHR with the same results.
To clarify, you have multiple IP’s that MUST be assigned to the same MAC?
Who is your host?
Provider of the host is Hetzner.
The IP (assigned to the dedicated server) is bound to the MAC address. This is my uplink. The second interface is linked to my “private” switch (which can be bridged and exposed with virtio) which links our dedicated servers and works without problems.
I need to expose the pci device (without bridging or emulation) to the guest server - RouterOS. This would enable me to use the public IP (bound the MAC address) inside my guest.
Hetzner happily replaced the NIC with a supported one - “Intel 82574L”.
CHR now works like a charm.
Thank you all for your help.
