Recently I took a backup from mikrotik which is installed in x86. Then I restored it in rb1000. After rebooting the router there is no any configuration restored. The version is 3.18 in x86 and 3.27 in rb1000.
it seems as if the router is fresh.
backup is there, so you can restore settings on same router, with same hardware etc.
if you want to move configuration across the routers, better use edited export file, since you do not want that all interfaces on all routers have same mac address etc.

i did /queue simple export file=queue and generated queue.rsc in x86
and /import queue.rsc in rb1000 it says Script file loaded and executed successfullybad argumenst in line …of…
what might be the problem??
you can open the file and check what is at that pace reported.
