could work. but that pipe that is shown in the picture looks a bit thin. The wind would probably bent it. Some one near me had done that. He put a 2.4ghz 24dbi grid on a 6 meter steel pipe. Last week we had a storm witha strong wind. The next day when i passed his house i saw that the pipe was bend in the middle. The antenna was aiming to the ground. lol.
