RFC 5185 OSPF Multi-Area Adjacency

Hi, I have similar scenario shown in link below:

“OSPF always prefers intra-area routes over the inter-area routes, this may cause suboptimal routing…” That is my problem.
RFC 5185 OSPF Multi-Area Adjacency is able to solve this issue. Does RouterOS support RFC 5185? How implement it?

I have used this on Cisco equipment but from what I recall attempting to place an interface in multiple areas within the same OSPF instance gives an error on RouterOS which gave me the impression that it was not implemented.

I’m not sure but maybe you can abuse OSPF Virtual Link to achieve the same?

there isn’t much OSPF-friendly VRF in RouterOS, presently. but MPLS/VPLS users enjoy using it :confused:
