Hi,
I’ve got a problem with a Mikrotik Chateau 5G R17 AX (S53UG+5HaxD2HaxD&RG650E-EU).
The main issue is that the modem is failed and the lte1 interface is unusable.
If I try to get the status of the device from the terminal I’ve got this error:
I’ve also enabled the debug log and it seems to unable to find the device…
…but it still appears on the resources:
Here there is a list of the actions that I’ve tried:
Upgrade RouterOS from 7.21.0 to 7.21.1
Restore the configuration from an old backup
Reset the configuration to an empty one
Downgrade to 7.20.7
Restore the configuration from the same backup again
Is there something that I can try to solve this issue or the modem is gone and it need to be replaced?
Thanks in advance
Bonsoir,
Vous pouvez reseter le modem LTE pour réactiver l'interface:
/system routerboard usb power-reset duration=45s bus=2

Could be issue with modem firmware. Which LTE modem firmware is currently installed? On mine is RG650EEU00AAR01A04G8G_01.300.01.300 - reported as latest on 7.20.7. Try to (re)install latest firmware on ROS 7.20.7 with /interface/lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes maybe it helps.
Also, do not install 7.21.1, there are reports that LTE connectivity is broken for Chateau 5G R17 AX on this version - V7.21.1 [stable] is released! - #5 by ConiKost

Best then to create support ticket to MT on Log into Atlassian - Support (needs separate account). Write in it issue description and attach supout.rif file .
