RG951G/rOU6.4: VDSL (PPPoE w/ VLAN 7) & DHCP multi-WAN

Hello all,

I’d like to use my shiny new R951G running router OS 6.4 as a multi-WAN router.

I have two outgoing connections:
One 100/6 Mbit cable connection assigning a public IP via DHCP. This is already running on port 1 (WAN) (then again, I didn’t have to do anything to actually get this up and running .
The second connection is a VDSL 50/10 Mbit connection for which I have to log in with PPPoE, the PPPoE packets need to be tagged VLAN 7. To make matters worse, the same VDSL connection will issue a DHCP-IP via VLAN 8; this connection only carries the multicast packets for IP-TV.

I can do without the VLAN 8 IP-TV things, but does anyone have a working config for current multi-WAN Deutsche Telekom VDSL / Kabel Deutschland connections or can someone point me in the right direction on how to set this (VLAN 7 PPpoE/DHCP) up?

I’d like to configure the connection so that VDSL is used if it’s there, the cable connection only as a fallback.

Thank you!
Christian.
