Ricoh PCI/PCMCIA adapter

Hi every one :

I wonder if some one had a problem using Ricoh PCI-to-PCMCIA adapter with Senao 2511
wireless card in AP Bridge mode, in my case the host can drive the card alone, but when
any pc associates its stay up for 1 or 2 seconds only and disconnected, and then no more
SSID in the air.

some times disabling and enabling the WLAN interface can restore the SSID but problem
repeated, i tryed more than one test versions, all the same to this case, other wireless
card i have like DWL-AG530 and 3com SL3045 are woking, but i realy need to have the
Prism card active.

appreciate spending time in reading my post and hoping for advices.

Thank you in advanced.

I had problems a long time ago with the Ricoh and pcmcia cards:

[sysop@MikroTik] > /system resource pci print

DEVICE VENDOR NAME IRQ

4 01:03.0 Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c475 (rev: 129) 0

The above PCI resource showed up, the cards that were connected showed up, however I couldn't use them.

Hi Sam

My MT showes the following :

system resource pci> pr

DEVICE VENDOR NAME IRQ

1 01:01.0 Ricoh Co Ltd RL5c475 (rev: 0) 0

driver> pr

DRIVER IRQ IO MEMORY ISDN-PROTOCOL

0 D Prism2 PCMCIA
1 D RealTek 8139

the MT box can see and drive both, but i cant use the senao card regarding to
loosing the SSID at association, maybe its problem in the host, but how i can
make sure without changing it or the senao ?

Thank you for your intrest.

Guys

I did make a shot and opened the case of the SL-2611CB3 PLUS Access point
and guess what, it has the same pcmcia card but with (F200)CY at the end,
when testing on the RICOH adapter it worked as AP and my pc can associate
normaly.

i thought its over, but i got another problem, although the link is 11 Mbps but its
very weak and cant hold any small load, if I connect the antenna on any jack the
card stop working and no more link until rebooting the MT box.

what is going on ?

Please help.
