i wonna ask you if this product http://www.mikrotik.com/pdf/rb_rpo.pdf is compatible with my wisp.
they says me than they use the hyperlan (5ghz) tecnology to provide the internet connection on the houses and factory with hotspot’s mikrotik routerboard…
So, if i buy this Kit, can i connect on these? or i need other thinks? i seem that’s all in the kit
any suggest or question, i’m here

If your provider use some Hyperlan/2 proprietary technologies, such as TDM on Alvarion (or Canopy or something else), you are unable to connect this to him.
The problem of Hyperlan, is that there are a lot of (uncompatible) proprietary standard on the market, such as “nstreme” from Mikrotik.
But, if you are sure that they use Mikrotik RouterOS for the client side, this product is perfect for you.
Pay attention to the country law imposition!!!
On Italy, for example, max permitted EIRP is 1W (30dBm), and on the product you linked here there’s a 30dBi antenna, so you have to set frequency-mode=manual-txpower, and retrieve 3dBm max from your card (i assume 3dB cable loss), or you will be outlaw!

just another question… Can I buy only the dish Antenna without rb and other? I need a 5ghz dish Antenna for another installation
