Ring Cameras and Mikrotik L009

I have a client with two brand new RING Cameras purchased a week ago that will not connect to an L009-2HaxD Router running RoS 7.17.2.

I read through this post and none of the suggestions helped so I experimented a little and got them working.

They did not like the AP using 2GHz AX - changed to 2GHz N and away they went.

The camera’s then promptly downloaded an update and were put to use.

I haven’t changed the clients config back to use AX as yet in case more cameras need adding. Hope this helps someone.

Many devices, even the fresh new ones, do not like & aren’t ready for WPA3 even it’s a cool&trendy trend. Isn’t it your case?

Not using WPA3 - had already disabled that as a cause and was WPA2-PSK only and with 01:00:00 key update
