I currently have a linear network topology based on Hirschmann SPIDER II 8TX/2FX EEC switches consisting of N nodes. If I add a MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN switch and connect both ends of the network to it, will it be possible to implement a ring topology that allows for traffic redirection in case of a failure?
I am planning to add a MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN switch and connect both ends of the network to it.
Could you please recommend suitable SFP modules that are compatible with the MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+IN for this setup? I need modules that support two-fiber connections to facilitate the ring topology.
