RIP and PPTP conections, problem

Hi

I have 3 routers connected in chain styles 750 MT Rboards, 1st one has ETH1 to internet and eth5 to next one, and 2nd MT 750 eth1 has connected to 1st MT and on eth5 is connected to 3rd mt. 3rd mt has 1st eth connected to 2nd mt. Lets preten that the routers have default config just small ip and rip changes. Rip is just enabled with appropriate Network numbers for each MT. Oooo i forgot i have. Destribute defaul route on the 1st MT thats all. I can browser internet etc being connected to any of those MTs.

ANYWAY......

I have configure rip to run on the rounters with 192.168.0.0/16
ex. between 1st and 2nd MT: 192.168.1.1/ to -> 192.168.1.2 this is just to for testing not saving ip etc.

I have have ppp server configure with "test" user name = (secret) and client on 3rd mt.
Everything work ok to this point but listen what next.

I want to have a hotspot LAN ex. 172.16.0.0/24 on MT 3 port 3 ok?
so it is configured to authenticated with User manager on the 1st MT. BUT BUT BUT

Here is the tricky part of all of this.

Let assume that i disable the client PPP with user "test" om MT3, and just for now user authenticate localy with little letter "L" in hotspot. OK? So their hotspot network is 172.16.0.0/24 has to be routed to the internet. Ok, ok, So i enable on RIP to "distribute connected". They can connect to internet OK , no problem there. but NO i want to user the User Manager on MT 1 with the PPP server.

So this time i still leave the in Rip conf setup with "Distribute connected " option ON. ok? But now what happens is that the dynamicly created ip on MT3 from the PPPclient is propagated accrossed the RIP network. Because it is considered by RIP as CONNECTED ROUTE. I don't need this to be propagated throuout the whole RIP network, i only need the HOTSPOT network (lan ) 172.16.0.0/24 to be considered CONNECTED and propagated accross the RIP so users can connect to internet.

Is the a way to exclude the PPP links from RIP?

thx
