RMA'd RB800 now reboots randomly

Hello, I have an RB800 that we got back from RMA last week after a lighting strike took out the PoE port. The RB800 works ok for a few hours, then it will reboot itself, with no warning or indication as to why in the logs, only thing it shows is “routerboard was shutdown improperly” or some message like that. I’m going to try and downgrade it from 5.14 to something else to see if that’s the issue. I’ve tried 2 different DC adapters on it and they both do the same thing. (they both are outputting ~13.6v @ 1A, according to the spec sheet it should run w/ a min of 10v on the DC jack)

Is there anything I should try to make sure its not something on my end and not the board?

TIA

Drew

Get a higher voltage DC input voltage, your DC jack may not be giving out enough amps..

Many DC power bricks that say Rated 12VDC @ 1A are not.

You’re close to the bottom end of the range, it could likely be a problem
