Dear All,
I want to setup a roaming wireless in my university as when i turn on my laptop and walk around my university, I have not disconnect or packet lost.
I want to use 3120 degree sector antenna or 490 degree setcotr antenna with RB433AH or RB800.
But, I’m confused.
If i want to use 3*120 degree sector antennas, I should use one RB433AH or RB800 with 3 wireless card or there is a terminal that merge 3 output of sector antennas to one and then connect this one output to wireless card on my router board?
Can anyone help me and give me a solution?
Best regards.
Dear All,

Hi…
It’s depend on you budget, but i would say, with the RB433AH and 3 x 120 degree sector will do.
you can try to contact dbii network for the F20-pro, the card is very good to us.
Dear angboontiong,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I underestand that use a RB433AH with 3 wireless card with 3 sectorial antenna. Is it right?
I have another question?
for example I connect to one of this sectorial antenna and recive an IP Address from DHCP Serer, But I walk in my university enviroment and jump from one sectorial antenna to another.do i have a disconntec issue when I jump from one sectorail antenna to another?
I read some documents which said if I create a bridge and add 3 wireless card into this bridge and set IP Address on this bridge, I do not encounter packet lost or disconnet issue?
Would you please help me regarding to this issue?
Best regards.
Ashkan
Dear All,
Really i need to do this senario.
please help me.
Thanks a lot.
Hi…
just make sure you sector is place in the right direction.
You will have packet loss while crossing roaming areas but the good news, once the loss is bad, laptop will drop and connect to good ap.
