Hi,

Here is a problem that is causing me frustration I hope you guys may have ideas on how to fix it.

I was trying to use my Roku Player 3 on my new RB951Ui-2HnD StrongVPN service in Mexico with Telmex infinitum 20Mb Fiber Optic line, but every time I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi or the Ethernet it gave me an error Code 014 and 013…
So I started to do a little troubleshooting to see where the problem was…
First I tried to check if the VPN connection was working on my computer, and it did, I had an IP address from SF California and I could watch Netflix.
Now I tried a different Roku, same problem.
Tried to reset to factory default and reconfigure the VPN again.
Tried different Internet connections.
Tried changing VPN servers, updated VPN information.
If I was connected via Ethernet even though I got the annoying error message and it said that my Ethernet was not configured, if I rebooted I could get an activation code and start using the Roku player like nothing happened. But if I tried to connect via wireless I could not connect, it gave me error code 014 and then it quit and it wanted me to do it again.
So then I tried a different Mikrotik router, RB951-2n, this router was working before with the VPN and sure enough it worked like a charm, no errors just green checks…

So then I started to work only on the Mikrotik router, but before I did that I read this blog about a guy with the same problem but not the same hardware and the part about disabling pings, and it worked for WiFI and Ethernet so I guess I could be happy now right? But no, I don’t want to do this every time I setup another Roku, I think that I should fix the problem on the Mikrotik router…

This is what I have done so far and no luck…
I upgraded the Mikrotik firmware to version 6.4
I checked RB951-2n and RB951Ui-2HnD startup configuration and they were identical.
I verified settings on the VPN, IP and interfaces making sure there was nothing weird on the configuration… I could not find anything…
Is the RB951Ui-2HnD have some sort of ICMP block or anything that can cause Roku setup to crash on connecting? I also made sure that the DNS server were googles servers on the DHCP.
I am running out of ideas, can anybody help me? What do you need? The configuration file?
