LTE EP06-E worked Ok on ROS 7.15.3. After upgrade to 7.16 error in log:
lte1 mbim: >>> E #11 - conn_ext: lte attach config, error: FAILURE
Why does this error occur?
I axed Mikrotik this question too. They say it’s an error passed up from the modem via the MBIM interface. I can’t yet find what it means. Anyway the modem connects for me afterwards. I noted in the log that the MTU for the network is 1460 from the default 1500 which I manually changed it to.
I have rolled back to 7.15.3 so far - there is no this error, then I will try some other 7.16.x
Even with this error were you getting any connectivity like I do? I notice it only happens after a reboot.
Even despite the error, the connection worked immediately without restarting.
