hello. I noticed that deleting one area (Area 5) summary record with /18 mask and replacing it with several ( 1 x /22 and 4 x /24) records does not remove /18 route entry from router in other area (Area 2). added records appears in routing table, but deleted one still live.
Area summarization was done on two ABR (ROS 7.16 beta4 and 7.17 beta 4) and normal router where /18 route holding to live running ROS7.16.1.
I am sure, what if I restart ospf on ABRs or in any serious way disrupt ospf in network, then deleted record will be purged.
So, is it a bug or a feature, or some error in config?
