ros as virtualisation platform

Hi there,
i pretty much like the idea of putting all the server related stuff inside a pod, where the host os is ROS.
i just tried it with 6.19 on a device with 24G ram. however i only see 2gigs.
is there a slight chance that we get real 64bit support on x86 with 64bit KVM guest support?

until now everybody liked the idea of collapsing all the virtualization+network into a single platform around here.
the biggest positive is that the part which does the packet forwarding is running on bare metal, and the guests
don’t communicate to the external world through another guest (where any sw router is installed).
not to mention all the integrated goodies what ROS provides basically for free.
