ROSE on Mikrotik Chateau 5G

Hi all,

I’m trying to install ROSE package (rose-storage-7.16.1-arm.npk) in my Chateau 5G router.
According to: https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/259031065/ROSE-storage

This functionality currently is supported on arm, arm64, x86 and tile platforms.

My resource says:

                   uptime: 9m23s
                  version: 7.16.1 (stable)
               build-time: 2024-10-10 14:03:32
         factory-software: 7.0.3
              free-memory: 144.3MiB
             total-memory: 256.0MiB
                      cpu: ARM
                cpu-count: 4
            cpu-frequency: 448MHz
                 cpu-load: 7%
           free-hdd-space: 1004.0KiB
          total-hdd-space: 16.0MiB
  write-sect-since-reboot: 392
         write-sect-total: 125520661
        architecture-name: arm
               board-name: D53G-5HacD2HnD
                 platform: MikroTik

So I downloaded the ARM package, uploaded it to ther router and rebooted… But it never shows up and I don’t find anything regarding nfs or any of the options…

Columns: NAME, VERSION, BUILD-TIME, SIZE
# NAME VERSION BUILD-TIME SIZE
0 tr069-client 7.16.1 2024-10-10 14:03:32 120.1KiB
1 routeros 7.16.1 2024-10-10 14:03:32 11.1MiB
2 wireless 7.16.1 2024-10-10 14:03:32 1924.1KiB

Any idea on why I can’t install ROSE? I’ve already tried the install several times without luck…

Log file should give you more info.

Most likely not enough space, you only have 16mb of storage for packages.

You are correct… this is a storage space issue… :frowning:
bummer!

upgrade failed, free 2009 kB of disk space

bah… and the ROSE package is only 3,1MB :open_mouth:
