ROSv7 equivalent of /routing/bgp/advertisements print

I have looked around ROSv7 and have not stumbled upon the command to view BGP prefix advertisements outbound to a peer.

Any ideas?

NO. I had asked them they said nothing like that is available yet.

This feature is pretty critical.

I wouldnt even put v7 in as a tower router without the ability to see the advertised/received routes from a peer.

This feature is not available yet.

So 7.1 is now out properly, so I thought I’d give it a whirl.

Managed to get a BGP session up and running, albeit with bfd yet, so went onto looking at the filtering, I can’t see what I’m advertising with a normal “/routing bgp advertisements print”

Also needing to see exported routes via BGP, per peer or peer-group, in here.

+1
This is an essential feature!

Is there another way to view advertisements prefixes via command line?

We really need this to see what we are advertising.

Did you guy see that 7.1.2 “stable” was released?

v7.1.2 is released!

Does anyone got sucess checking announced routes to an specific BGP peer using 7.1.2?

Changelog does not say that this feature is added, so 7.1.2 does not have bgp/advertisements equivalent yet.

@mrz - Thanks for clarifying.

We have 20 full mikrotik bgp routers with loads of filters and 200+ peers. I understand there are many things to cover in 7.x but its really hard not to have bgp/advertisements, so this would be my #1 wish to get.

YES PLZ!

I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to say…

But I remember that in versions 7.1RCxxx the route cache was exposed to queries.
And, if I’m not mistaken, by making queries in this cache, it was possible to know which routes had been sent to the desired peer.

If I’m not mistaken, when it became 7.2Rxxx and 7.1xxx this option to query the route cache directly was removed.

I could really do with this feature.

How Mikrotik can tout their new and improved BGP service and change the routing filter setup without any way to troubleshoot it seems crazy.

Reasons not to use ROS7…

v7.1.4 is released!
And until now, I don’t see any movements to correct the lack of “/routing/bgp/advertisements print” equivalent on v7.

Please, tell me that I’m simply wrong, and it is just me that doesn’t know the command syntax to get that information.

I’ve not come across it. A packet capture of BGP is the only current method to get this info.

Hey guys… Lets flood then!

Evereyone just open a Ticket on their Jira.

Sumary:
ROSv7 bgp advertised routes per peer

Description:
We need a way to get exactly what routes are announced to each bgp peer using ROS v7.

There is no need to flood, this feature is work in progress
