Router 411u is not keeping the clock.

I just received my new 411u. I use the mikrobox to configure it. First of all I have entered the correct date and time. Then after a reboot I made or a shutdown the clock was again 1970. I tried it twice again but it can’t keep the time and date.

Is this a known problem?

It is a “known problem” in the fact that the routerboards have no real time clock, so you must use NTP to reset and maintain the correct time after a reboot.

You probably have to set a default gateway or default route so that the NTP time requests can find the internet.
