I have Mikrotik as default IPv6 gateway sending router advertisements and DHCPv6 server on another machine. It works fine with WinXP and Dibbler DHCPv6 client.
But Windows Vista with it’s native DHCPv6 support does not work. According to this:
http://blogs.technet.com/teamdhcp/archive/2007/01/23/dhcpv6-behaviour-in-windows-vista.aspx
it needs M and O flags in router advertisement. It’s AdvManagedFlag on and AdvOtherConfigFlag on in radvd’s terms. Mikrotik sends both off. And I can’t manage to find how to change it. Did I just overlook something, or is it really missing? I can’t believe I’d be the first one who needs it.
