Router/AP with DHCP Server and NAT/Masquerading

HI there,

i’m looking for and Access Point or a Router that has these capabilities:

  • DHCP Server


  • NAT/Masquerading

In my network I have a main router and I want to add and AP with the above capabilities since I would like to have another IP class on the Wifi Network.

Could you please suggest me a Mikrotik AP/Router that fits these requirements?

Any of Mikrotik’s wireless devices can do the functions you mentioned.

Why not simply replace the existing router with the mIkrotik WIFI router?
In any case, the hapax3 is an arm64 cpu with lots of RAM and decently priced.
