I got one RouterBoard working as hotspot in a hotel. This routerboard was working very well like for 30 days, after that the problems beging.
First, the problem was the ISP (he gives me DHCP and sometimes the access to internet fault).
So, we did contract a new dedicated ISP, with Fixed IP, the first day works fine. But then the routerboard did start freezing, the ethernet´s LED shuted down and the only way to get alive againg, was unplugging the power cord.
I dont know why this happening.
Some one can help me?
I have 2 differents networks in that routerboard, one is a prepaid network, for clients of the hotel, and the other one is a free network for the administration of the hotel.
I don´t got a firmware problem. The firmware is ok. The problem seem be the routerboard, or or something else. I NEED A SOLUTION HERE SUPPORT PEOPLE!! PLEASE.
at the other side i´ve got connected the clients, through a switch, in one ethernet.
In the other ethernet i´ve got connected the ISP router (Cisco 1841).
I connect the serial cable, when the links fall down, apparently seem to be all right, besides the ethernet ports appears Up.
But that is not real, all the ethernet ports, fall down, and the LEDs of all ports shuted down.
I have the same problem with two pieces of RB150. I was trying MT3.30, 4.17 and 5.0 - still is shutting down and up - LAN ports. RB firmware i 3.18.
IS THERE ANY SOLUTION?
