Whats the use of the SD Card slot? on the router 433? and could i use 12volts to power it up 0.5 Amps
You can use the micro SD card slot for storage or a HTTP Proxy Server storage.
The RB433AH comes with the microSD slot, the RB433 does not. So I’ll assume you are asking about the RB433AH.
The Mikrotik RB433AH data sheet says 10vdc to 28vdc and drawing about 3 watts with no radio cards. Of course the specs are the same on the RB433 data sheet. I don’t believe that they both draw the same amount of power since the AH has a CPU running more than 2 times faster.
12vdc at .5 amps = 6 watts. It should work unless you install a radio card.
