I am working with a couple of Routerboard 433AH units that were configured with two radios each. I noticed that i can use POE on Eth1, but I have not been able to get it to notice the POE from the Cisco switch. I searched the forum and found others having the same issue and the best I could do was find mention of POE jumpers.
Can someone forward a link, or picture of the jumpers and how they are jumpered? I can only find two sets of pins that look like they can take standard hard drive type jumpers. None of the documentation I can find does more than mention the jumpers, they never show a diagram or picture and identify the pins on the jumpers.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading. Joe
RB4xx series boards do NOT support 48vdc POE. Look at the data sheet.

See where it says 10 to 28vdc POE?
That does not include 48vdc which is what all the 802.3af POE switches will be providing.
Typical POE for RB4xx boards is 24vdc over the unused pairs. They do not support POE over the data lines.
The jumpers are there for adding one or two fans.
