Router bricked/Wrong backup restored

Hi,
firstly i apology to everyone that i’m totally noob for the Mikrotik.

I had an old Mikrotik RB951G-2HnD and recently purchased new one Mikrotik RB3011UiAS-RM.

I was searching online if there was a method to backup and restore same config one to another one.

So i did, downloaded full backup from Files Old one and Restored in New one.

After that, mine new mikrotik i mean RB3011 stucking at starting services screen, i tired to login Ether Boot and connect via NetInstall but no luck, port not recognizing. Check via port1 to rest of other port.

I bring a RJ45 to DB9 cable too for connect via Serial connector, still PC not recognizing the Device/Serial port.

am i doing anything wrong? please help me

RouterOS backup feature allows you to save your current device’s configuration, > which then can be re-applied on the same or a different device (with the same model name/number)

3011 is not the seame model as 951.
BTW … restoring backup on a different device of same type is not a good practice as MAC addresses differ.
