Router configuration resets to factory default after every reboot

I have a RouterBOARD 750G r2 which resets to factory default configuration every time the router is rebooted. This has happened since upgrading to RouterOS v6.39.1.

Steps to reproduce problem:

  1. Power on router (router is at factory default configuration).
  2. Browse to webfig (192.168.88.1).
  3. In Quick Set: set router IP, DHCP server range, admin password.
  4. Confirm that the router IP, DHCP server range and admin password have all changed successfully.
  5. Unplug AC power.
  6. Connect AC power and allow Router to boot.
  7. Router will have lost configuration and will now have factory default settings.

This problem is reproducible every time.

Has anyone else seen this problem?
