router disconnecting clients after exactly 24 hours

hello,

the product is MikroTik v2.8.26. After a client connects, he is then disconnected exactly after 24 hours.

log from a linux client:

“Oct 19 11:16:22 localhost pppd[12421]: LCP terminated by peer (connect time expired)
Oct 19 11:16:22 localhost pppd[12421]: Connect time 1440.0 minutes.
Oct 19 11:16:22 localhost pppd[12421]: Sent 40545865 bytes, received 69235255 bytes.
Oct 19 11:16:22 localhost pppd[12421]: Couldn’t increase MTU to 1500
Oct 19 11:16:22 localhost pppd[12421]: Couldn’t increase MRU to 1500
Oct 19 11:16:25 localhost pppd[12421]: Connection terminated.
Oct 19 11:16:25 localhost pppd[12421]: Modem hangup”

thanks in advance

i think u should check your firewall , for limited connections.

That has nothing to do with firewalls. I think it’s radius related, but don’t know exactly how.

Maybe the Carrier that provides the local loop to the customer intercepts the connection after a certain period of time. In certain countries this is normal behaviour for xdsl/adsl lines.

no, that’s lan/ethernet environment. i’m 99% sure that’s mikrotik related. perhaps someone from the mikrotik staff may help?

looks like you have set “session-timeout” in “/ip hotspot user profile”, can you check your config?
