Hi, I need a router for a 2.5/500 connection in PPPoE.
I don’t want to spend much. I already tried UDM Pro but I had speed problems with PPPoE .
Do you think this device should work with my connection, as it has Router os ?

Definitely not the crs as that is a switch with basic routing capabilities.
If you need 2 sfp+ ports you are looking at a ccr2004 or a ccr2116 to start.
I don’t do anything with pppoe, so someone else will have to provide their feedback on that.
Just remember:
good, fast, and cheap - pick any two.

IPv4 it probably can deal with 2500/500 easily.
I have both models in my network and a 5000/300 connection, but not PPPoE and it runs fine.
Before I had a 1000/300 PPPoE and it was also fine with both IPv4 and IPv6
PPPoE is very CPU heavy without hardware offload (witch Mikrotiks doesn’t have) For 3Gbit PPPoE troughput you probaby need at least a CCR2004-like device.
To expensive? Downgrade your Internet connection or choose a non-PPPoE provider
