router hang up whnen i try to access ip firewall

why whenever I try to access Mikrotik router in winbox through Mac hangs up whenever I try to access IP Firewall.

Two things

  • make sure your running at the current “long-term” or “current” ROS, and latest WinBox
  • if your connecting via a MAC address, you might want to disable all other interface on the PC to avoid potential ARP/L2 issues Now, should work with multiple interfaces…but if your having trouble, easy thing to check/try.
